Pure and simple, our organic maple sugar comes from Crown Maple, in the Hudson River Valley's bucolic Dutchess County. Rich in natural antioxidants, it provides a healthy alternative to classic granulated sweeteners, and adds complexity and richness to a variety of recipes. Use ¾ cup maple sugar as a substitute for one cup of cane when baking. It's great for sweetening coffee and tea, too, and we've used it more than once when shaking up a Manhattan.
