A Louisiana take on the oldest classic, this old fashioned recipe utilizes the best Louisiana ingredients to create a delicious and refreshing Fall beverage. The sweet potato, chicory, coffee and baking spices meld together to create a unique expression within the glass.


Ingredients:

  • 3 ounce Bourbon
  • 0.5 ounce El Guapo Sweet Potato Syrup
  • 4 dash El Guapo Chicory Pecan Bitters
  • 1 Cinnamon stick, for garnish

Directions:

  1. In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine bitters, syrup and bourbon.
  2. Stir until well chilled, and strain into a rocks glass one large rock.
  3. Garnish with a whole cinnamon stick and serve immediately.
